Recommended positive control: tonsil, lymph node, etc.
Staining pattern: Membrane +/- Golgi
React with T-cells, histiocyte and myeloid lineage cells, and their neoplastic couterparts.
This is a well-known T-cell marker, but “out-of-date” for diagnosis of T-cell lymphoma because of poor specificity, frequently positive in B-cell neoplasms. Recommend CD3 instead.
