Staining pattern: Membrane and/or cytoplasmic

Reacitivity in normal cells: Subpopulation of follicular dendritic cells. Subpopulation of B-cells.

Diagnostic utilities:Positive in Small cell lymphoma/B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Negative in Mantle cell lymphoma, MALT lymphoma.

Sometimes positive in SLL/CLL.

 

Although canbe used as a marker for follicular dendritic cells, CD21 is better for this purpose.
