Recommended positive controls: Tonsil, lymphoid tissues.
Staining pattern: membrane
Reactive to: NL cells, subpopulation of T-cells, plasma cells, neural cells, neuroendocrine cells.
Diagnostic utilities:
1) Diagnosis of hematolymphoid neoplasms:
NK/T cell lymphoma, Some T-cell lymphomas, Plasmacytoma, Some analastic large cell lymphoma, Some myeloid leukemias.
2) Diagnosis of neural/neuroendocrine tumors.
3) Diagnosis of Hirschsprung disease. (Not sensitive) (Oh JT et.al. Giles et.al.)
