染色パターン：細胞質± more pronounced membrane or paranuclear staining

用途：

Clusterinは様々な機能が推察され、また、様々な細胞種に陽性となり、特に肝、胃、脳の実質細胞に陽性。 アポトーシス関連蛋白として、また体液中でのstress-induced secreted chaperone proteinとしても知られる。(Jones S, Jomary C. Clusterin. Int J Biochem Cell Biol. 2002;34:427-431)

■Am J Surg Pathol. 2004 Aug;28(8):988-98によれば、濾胞樹状細胞肉腫follicular dendritic cell sarcomaの診断にも有効。 12/12と高いsensitivityを示した。CD21, CD23, CD35と比較して良好。 鑑別となるinterdiditating dendritic cell tumorでは6例中1例にわずかな陽性像が得られたのみであった。

■lymphomaではびまん大細胞型リンパ腫anaplastic large cell lymphomaのマーカーとして利用でき、Safferらの検討では以下の結果（Saffer H, Wahed A, Rassidakis GZ, Medeiros LJ. Clusterin expression in malignant lymphomas: a survey of 266 cases.　Mod Pathol. 2002 Nov;15(11):1221-6）

40/49 (82%) systemic anaplastic large cell lymphomas

12/29 (41%) cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphomas.

5/43 (12%) diffuse large B-cell lymphomas (4 of 5 CD30+)

1/14 (7%) peripheral T-cell lymphomas

1/32 (3%) cases of nodular sclerosis Hodgkin’s disease

1 case of mycosis fungoides in large cell transformation.
